Residents and tourists have to pick from a delicious sweet lime soup, panuchos, cochinitapibil, turkey salbutes,papadzules, turkey and suckling pig stew, all with habanero chile salsas. Beverages include refreshing traditional drinks such as horchata or pitahaya-flavored water and alcoholic drinks produced locally such as aguardiente de henequen and xtabentún, a liqueur made from honey.
